Asfordby Amateurs Junior & Youth Football Club support the local community in which they are located.

AAJYFC also supports all initiatives from the Leicestershire & Rutland Football Association such as the One Game One Community. Asfordby Amateurs took part in this activity with the players and volunteers at Highfield Rangers.

AAJYFC also support local charities, schools and organisations and its players, parents and carers do their own fundraising activities.

Once a year the Club holds their summer tournament which involves literally hundreds of local players from Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and sometimes from further afield.

Asfordby Captains Close Primary School have very kindly been donated a brand new football kit by Asfordby Amateurs Junior & Youth FC.  The boys are very grateful for the support of Asfordby Amateurs and hope that it spurs them on to the successes of last season said Head Teacher Paul Bannister.

‘”We really like the new kit because we feel more like a proper team.  Before we didn’t have matching socks and had to wear odd shorts, so this is much better.”  Will, aged 11.

Club Development Officer Karen Hebb added that the club was honoured to support the school, "it's nice to give something back to the community and several of the team already play for the club so its great for the children to feel valued and have their self esteem boosted".
